It’s That Time Again: Nickolls & Perks Presents 10th Midlands Whisky Festival; First To Be Held In Central Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND – Drum roll, please…

Nickolls & Perks would like to extend an invitation for you to join us at the tenth (yes, tenth!) Midlands Whisky Festival on Saturday, 17th September.

For the first time in its history, the widely acclaimed event will be upping sticks to the centre of Birmingham, with the venue now confirmed as thestudiobirmingham on Cannon St, B2 5EP.

For those pondering travel arrangements, city-centre rail stations Birmingham New Street, Birmingham Snow Hill and Birmingham Moor Street are all within a short walking distance. For more information on how to get to the venue, click here.

Now, back to the good stuff…

Representatives from some of the world’s leading distilleries — including Macallan, Highland Park and Ardbeg — as well as a variety of independent bottlers from across the U.K., will all be in attendance, serving up unmatched insight into your favourite distilleries and of course, pouring those mouth-watering drams.

As it has so often done, the Midlands Whisky Festival serves as a great place to meet the makers of your favourite drams, ask questions and chat with other whisky enthusiasts.

To take full advantage of the generous setting at this year’s venue, we will, for the first time, be running regular cigar and whisky pairings on the rooftop terrace, all of which will be hosted by leading U.K. importers and distributors, Hunters & Frankau. (EDITOR’S NOTE: This one’s not to be missed!)

In addition, free tasting seminars and food-pairing sessions will be available throughout the day.

And yes, rumours that a Suntory Masterclass featuring rare Japanese whiskies has already been confirmed.

Unlike previous shows where we’ve offered Premium and Devotee ticket options, this year we’ll be running a Standard ticket for just £40.00. However, for those keen to take their whisky tasting experience to the next level, keep on the lookout for Masterclass tickets which will be sold separately prior to the event.

And finally, for those unable to attend our Birmingham event in September, our spring show will return to the Stourbridge Town Hall in March, 2017.

For more information, and to purchase tickets, please visit us at WhiskyFest.co.uk.

We look forward to welcoming you through the doors of our biggest Whisky Festival yet.
